I strongly believe that as scientists, we have the responsibility to engage with all audiences. I greatly enjoy sharing my research and my experiences as a polar scientist with groups of all ages. I frequently speak in person and remotely with students at all levels as well as community groups. Please be in touch if you'd like to arrange something!

Science Saturday at Kenyon College

I was a faculty co-director of Science Saturday, a free program for middle schoolers at Kenyon College where students learn about science together and have fun experimenting and playing! There were two programs every year, each with a different theme and fun, hands-on activities. Each program was designed by our student directors and implemented by our volunteer staff members, who are trained in the activities and in tricks for engaging middle schoolers!

Science Saturday is currently taking a break while we focus on other endeavors and reassess our long-term plans. However, we would love to see the program continue in some form! Please be in touch if you would like to be involved in this fun, rewarding, and meaningful program!
